Leadership skills are extremely important for everyone and they are best developed when young. Children can learn things far more easily than adults especially when it comes to behaviors and patterns of interacting with peers. While many people believe that leadership is an innate ability it can also be a learned skill that parents and teachers can instill in children. Leadership is usually a mix of confidence and carefulness.
Young children begin to learn almost immediately what society expects of them and how to behave. These patterns of thought and behaviors will shape the person that they become. Many psychologists and psychoanalysts believe that a person’s behavior becomes more difficult to alter once they pass into adulthood, at an age of about twenty through thirty.
